In such situations, I prefer to bring in a conductor to bring clarity and facts to the decision-making process. I do enjoy a decision made on substantiated facts. In this case, I connected with Jessica Hoffman, owner of Project Ultimate Life and high-performance lifestyle coach.
I have always been a high-performer at work and life in general, achieving nearly everything I set my mind to. It was essential for me to find a coach who matched my energy, shared an understanding of life, and appreciated the foundations of how high-performer minds work. I am a high-performer who appreciates structure, values action and always strives to work toward forward momentum. I felt all of those characteristics were fully met during my coaching sessions with Jessica. So, I decided to ask Jessica and Project Ultimate Life for guidance in deciding my life direction.

Deciding on the Path Forward
I really enjoyed our sessions, as they were always shaped around mindset-building skills and momentum-building. There was absolutely no sugar coating, but I was met where I am and was coached forward from there.
I came into this with the goal to find an answer to a very specific question, which for me was ‘Do I move on from corporate life temporarily or permanently, or do I continue pursuing it and try harder to build a life around it in a different way so that it serves me better?’. (Aaah yes, the big millennial question of our time. Yup, it has not escaped me either.)
Uncovering Limiting Beliefs and New Options
Our coaching sessions were action-oriented, brief and to the point and came with homework to do after each session. The homework is not something in need of validation as the only right answers are the ones that I have. However, the way that the coaching sessions were facilitated and the methods and ideologies behind them made the homework so revealing that you cannot not see your truth in the end.
For me, the coaching experience was a huge revelation. Many times I would think ‘Oh I totally thought I knew that’, but as I started to really see it, I realized that I did not know what it was at all. I came into the coaching sessions questioning whether I should continue on my current path simply because it works on paper, but it is not really working for me in life.

Through meaningful conversations, and deep, momentum-driven couching, we uncovered what a good life looks like for me – my so-called ultimate life.
While I’ve already started taking small steps towards my ultimate life, I think a real realization was just how far away that life is from my current one – it could almost feel like it is on the opposite end of the scale from where I find myself today.
When you make such a realization and you identify where you are and where you need to go, it is only natural to start questioning it, experience the anxiety of the unknown, have concerns and self-doubts, and all the limiting self-beliefs can really start to mess with your confidence. How could I make this shift? Would not staying put be easier? Isn’t that the most comfortable option?
When you reach that point, that is your cue to seek out help with building the path forward.
Jessica really helped me navigate this in a very efficient, safe and respectful way.
One of our focuses were working with limiting beliefs. For me, learning what those are and how they show up really made a difference. Jessica helped me identify and explore my own limiting beliefs are which helped me discover deeper aspects of myself and the where they came from.
Now, do bear in mind this is a coaching session, it is not a therapy session. Coaching is not about diving into one’s deepest fears or traumas; it is entirely focused on where you are now, where you need to go, and how to build the momentum and pathway to get there. What building blocks will you need? What obstacles stand in your way? How can you clear your mind to visualize your path forward?
From Realization to Action: Building My Momentum
As my vision became clearer, we discussed limiting beliefs, pros and cons, and potential paths to reach my goals.

One of my biggest realizations? I have options! Plural! I now see multiple ways to achieve my goal—options that hadn’t seemed possible before. And the best part? None of them feel overwhelmingly difficult. They are not hard or difficult to do. And definitely not when you are a high performer. We do not back down from a challenge, but suddenly, these challenges did not even feel hard. (That is a mindset bender right there, I can tell you that.)
After having identified all of these options, some of my homework was to write down pros and cons for each of them to help identify what weighs heavily in alignment with my values, what do I value the most in life and how does that actually fit my personality?
Part of this discovery, from a simple pros and cons list, is to identify behaviors in conjunction with your beliefs. How does my personality actually show up? And what can I expect to deal with when I start to discover challenges in the process? We can for sure expect that our concerns and limiting self beliefs will find a way to sneak in, so how do you identify when that shows up? And what are the values and the motivators that are going to keep you on track? What are the skills that you already have? And what external tools can help amplify those skills?
Jessica came prepared with a coaching program and tool set that helped me find my answer to all of these questions. We covered a lot, but I’ll leave the rest for your own discovery. Working with Jessica means working with someone that will tailor the coaching sessions to you, your needs, your questions and the decisions that you need to make for yourself to help you see and create the options that are available to you in life.

By the end of my coaching sessions, I had full clarity on what my ultimate life looks like, what I need to do next, and what my next steps are. What things I need to change and what actions I can absolutely take without it being difficult. And most importantly, how I can walk my path without it feeling hard to do.
